Ever wanted to chat one-on-one with a style expert, After the myriad of runway shows (we're almost done,) we've been privy to over the past few weeks, I got the chance to talk with celebrity stylist and fashion aficionado Kimmy Erin about her favorite shows, the most wearable trends and how to get the runway looks for less, You may have seen her work along award show red carpets, on the pages of weekly entertainment mags - she styles both Josh Kelly and wife Katherine Heigl - or even on her YouTube channel, where she catches up with the best fashion players and dispenses invaluable advice.

As a stylist, what were your favorite fashion week shows, long sleeve dress long sleeve dress
It's always the same for me - 3.1 Philip Lim, Marc Jacobs and Jason Wu - which I know is typical, nothing new, but for such a young guy, Jason just gets it, Sometimes I feel like Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren are getting old and we need somebody to be doing what Jason Wu is doing because he's doing it so beautifully, I was inspired by DooRi - It was simple, and though it didn't have that many looks, each was really well done with pops of color, At many of the other shows, we saw the same pastels and in candy-colored hues over and over - which can be great - but it was really nice to see those kind of pops, I also loved Ralph Lauren, absolutely loved it,

What are the best ways to translate the looks from the runway to the street without waiting until February and spending an arm and a leg,
I always say go for color, Even if you don't have the exact silhouette that is being created on the runway, because it usually is a pattern or cut that is hard to get your hands on — go for the color, If it's not something that is in a store immediately, you can usually find it vintage or at a secondhand store, so take the inspiration from the color then start shopping plus size empire waist wedding gowns plus size empire waist wedding gowns, Even you don't find the exact same color — if you find a white shirt that is shorter in the front and longer in the back which we saw so much of for spring, dye it, They sell fabric dye in the super markets and if you get creative and don't mind your fingers being stained for a couple of days, it can be a lot of fun creating it yourself,

What were your favorite colors that we saw a lot of,
The orangey red mixed with peach makes a beautiful color combination, Marc Jacobs had this incredible teal green and blue palette — that was just so cute for me, I love that color, You can put your own spin on it with some camel or light grey from your own wardrobe.

How do you figure out how to style somebody,
I take into account their age, their body type, and budget.  I would say figuring out what the needs are important, but when it comes to figuring out the aesthetics you usually pick up on adjectives they use to describe clothes, wedding dresses online I always them before I ask them what they like, what they hate or what would either impede their movement or impede their happiness, I think finding out the negatives before finding out the positives are some of the best questions you can ask american prom dresses , It just comes down to gut, You can look at collections day and night, you can look at books and history books and see what was photographed a few years ago for inspiration from but it comes down to your gut and what 's going to feel right for your client and you, And that what makes stylists, stylists - because their gut is usually spot on.

Do you have any style crushes, Mine personally is Alexa Chung...,
Lake Bell, She is always - like Alexa - very unique, whimsical, takes risks, She is always so put together and has the most dreamy body, She's just so gorgeous, I noticed her in No Strings Attached and I loved her and was like, "Who is this girl," I started doing all this research and going on GettyImages.com and I realized she is the best-dressed lady in Hollywood and nobody knows it, I don't know how it's gone unnoticed, It's totally her, no stylist behind her, informal silk wedding dresses informal silk wedding dresses I know she has people help her shop, but her style is authentic, wedding dress stores summer bridesmaid dresses cheap It's not somebody who is branding her, that's completely who she is, She can pull off every look, every hair color,

What celebrities do you kind of see in which collections, whether it be on the runway or day to day or on the red carpet ,
I know Mischa Barton showed up at a couple of parties looking so great, looking for discount wedding dresses on sale ? we sell directly wedding dresses, evening dress I would love, love, to get her into some Proenza Schouler because she has curves and the way they executed the gatherings and peplums would fit great on her body, She's so sophisticated and artistic, I know Nicole  Richie has her own line, but I would love to see her go a little less boho, which I know she is so famous for, I would love to see her in something more Italian and funky like Alberto Ferretti, I would love to see Vanessa Hudgens in Jenny Packham, There was this lime green dress green dress - it was the only green one she showed and it was really, really pretty - that had a mesh V and beautiful detailing right over the sternum, There was also another gown gown she would have rocked, which was actually white with multi-colored sequin florets on it, Especially with her tan skin, she would look phenomenal in that, She could do a nice dark lip which she looks amazing with and a beautiful gold eyeshadow, I would love to see Demi Moore in DooRi, There was this one piece that was very parachutey, billowy and I would just love to see her go - even though she's not crazy - go crazy with shoes with so thigh-high platforms and rock out this big billowy dress dress , And I want to see her in white, she looks so good in white,

So what are your favorite celebrities, I know you've worked with a few, but do you have any favorites,
I love styling musicians, It's so fun and sometimes the red carpet just gets a little too prim and proper, I love working with BC Jean - she is so talented and such an amazing songwriter and so open to playing with clothes, She is just super, super sweet, I also love working with Josh Kelly, He's awesome,

What are your personal closet staples,
Black skinny jeans that make you feel like you lost 20 pounds by just putting them on, I think it's really important that you should be able to do your own hair and do one style really well, I also think - and this is awful - a really good pair of plastic sunglasses, My go-to pair is Oliver Peoples, Don't go cheap, It's not worth it, You will be so much happier if you just splurge and have a pair that you love,

Are there any tricks that everyone should know,
Always have double-stick tape with you, Always summer of dresses summer of dresses, always, And I think it's all about - never be afraid to alter and customize, When a designer designs, they design for a certain height and a certain weight and I highly doubt that 100% of people trying it on can fit in it, You can accommodate it by getting it tailored, but don't be afraid to spend an extra $20 or $30 to get the fit just right.
